Our midwife, Anne drops by daily to check and make sure all is good. Today she weighed Chelsea. Chelsea has gained 1oz since birth! Just 6 days and growing- I was not surprised at all b/c she gulps down the milk- you can hear her swallowing across the room!
I had 4 stitches after the birth b/c Chelsea had her hand on her face coming out. I am house bound b/c we have aflight of 12 stairs that lead out of our home. No stair climbing until stitches heal. It hasn't bothered me yet. The stitches give me enough discomfort that I'm pretty keen to just hang out inside. Hopefully next week I can get out with mum and Hayli for a fun day trip before they leave.
